A new era in DNA-marker technology emerged with the launch of GeneSTAR Molecular Value Predictions (MVPs). The technology now reflects a molecular breeding value with more markers. In addition, a reliability value carried on each trait easily shows the level of reliability.

Based on an expanded 56-marker panel—12 existing markers plus 44 recently identified ones—GeneSTAR MVPs help producers place greater trust in the ability of the panel to accurately predict a phenotypic response.
